And the mental beat down rolls on...
Police are investigating a major collision that happened near Alamo Square on Tuesday.
The accident occurred when a woman in her 40s allegedly ran a stop
sign and "T-boned" a vehicle with three people inside at the
intersection of Hayes and Steiner streets about 3:40 p.m., Officer Albie
Esparza said.
Just minutes before, the female suspect reportedly struck a parked
car at Hayes and Divisadero streets and was fleeing that scene when she
struck a second vehicle, Esparza said.
Two men and a woman in the second vehicle were hospitalized, as was
the suspected hit-and-run driver, Esparza said. The four sustained
moderate to severe injuries in the accident, but none are
life-threatening.
The investigation is ongoing, but police do not believe alcohol was a
factor in the crash, Esparza said. The suspected driver could face
charges of reckless driving, speeding and misdemeanor hit-and-run.
