Coming Soon: A Very Special Special Election Special

California's "End of the World" Special Election is coming on May 19th.

The Governor and most other Democrats are warning of famines and rioting in the streets if these measures (the "sucky six") do not pass. Now, the Governor is well known for his bluffs and bluster; the voters have seen this before, and many voters don't see how a meltdown in Sacramento would affect them - seeing as how little anything that goes on in Sacramento affects them anyway.

What we are seeing in Sacramento is not "partisanship"... what we are seeing is two groups of politicians with very different and contradictory sets of beliefs and priorities. Neither is in any mood to compromise. The Governor was supposed to be the guy to bring these groups to the table, but thus far he has failed. He has shown that he's not as smart as people give him credit for.

The vote on 1A thru F - No, no, no, no, no, and no.

I'll say why later.
