Word from the Chicago Tribune is that illegal alien, convicted felon, and La Raza martyr Elvira Arellano has been arrested! Finally!!!
Elvira Arellano was arrested about 4:15 p.m. Chicago time by law enforcement officials after leaving Our Lady Queen of Angels Church in downtown Los Angeles, said Emma Lozano, an adviser who was there during the arrest.
After talking to news media inside the church, Arellano and her supporters got into their van to head north to San Jose, where she was scheduled to speak at another church, Lozano said. Moments after they got in the van, an unmarked vehicle stopped them.
The driver of Arellano's van, Roberto Lopez, poked his head out of the van because he wanted to see why they were being blocked. Several other unmarked vehicles surrounded their van.
Agents came out of all the cars screaming at the top of their lungs for her to get out, Lozano said. Her 8-year-old son, Saul, started to cry, and Arellano said to everyone in the car, "Calm down. Don't have any fear. They can't hurt me."
Then she turned to the people who were about to arrest her and she said, "You're going to have to give me a minute with my son," Lozano said. She spent time with her son in the car, and then surrendered.
It was over in less than two minutes. She was arrested Sunday on Main Street, near Our Lady Queen of Angels, where Arellano slept Saturday night and where she's held several press conferences Saturday and Sunday.
Arellano is much more than a mother looking out for her anchor baby - she is a shrewd strategist who has played the system very well. Up till now.

Arellano entered the United States illegally in 1997[3], was apprehended and deported back to Mexico by the United States government[4]. On November 14, 2006, in Mexico City, Saul Arellano appeared before the Congress of Mexico [5]. The Mexican lawmakers passed a resolution to urge the United States government to suspend the deportation of Arellano and other parents of children who are United States citizens.
She was arrested on August 19, 2007 in Los Angeles, CA.And why did she go to L.A. if she knew she would be arrested? Simple... TO GET ARRESTED!
Seeing immigration reform stalled, the reconquistas have realized they have to do something to get Americans back on their side - via the sob-story of the year!
So they trot this bitch out to a bunch of widely advertised public meetings, so that, through her arrest, they would now have their martyr. And, while Border Agents Ramos & Campeon continue to rot in prison, this puta will probably get special treatment, will probably get a personal amnesty (Rep. Bobby Rush [D-Il] has already introduced one on her - and 33 other illegals' - behalf), and, ultimately, will be given citizenship, no doubt with a "sincere apology" from the government.
